‘First Flight’ is a unique winged bean cultivar. It was selected in experimental trials for its ability to produce a yield of succulent pods in the summer-autumn season of coastal NSW. In contrast to many other varieties of winged bean imported into Australia by gardeners and plant enthusiasts, ‘First Flight’ is able to flower in the longest days of summer.
